Description
Mead is one of the oldest drinks in the world — and one of the most misunderstood. Often called the Nectar of the Gods, it is simply honey, water and time. But when the honey comes from your own hives, the result is something truly special.
My mead is made in the traditional method, using my own honey — harvested from bees that forage freely across the Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire countryside. Each batch is slow-fermented and aged to perfection, producing a smooth, richly golden mead with a natural sweetness and a warmth that lingers long after the last sip.
This is not mass-produced honey wine. It is a small-batch, artisan mead, made by the hands that also tend the hives — from petal to bottle.
Serve chilled, at room temperature, or — as I prefer — over ice. It pairs beautifully with cheese, puddings and desserts, or is equally wonderful simply on its own.
A bottle of mead makes an extraordinary and unusual gift — for a wedding, a special birthday, a food lover, or anyone who appreciates something genuinely handcrafted and steeped in history.
Smooth. Golden. Award-winning. Unmistakably British.
